Shelter on a Cold Day I hope@

These little basket houses seem quite nice. Mine all arrived fine and were well shaped. Just hope they attract some birds. I have two under cover and one with a clear bird feeder cover as if they get wet out here on the coast they will go moldy in our climate. More for the cold snowy season I think but I'll give them a go.
Very cute natural roosting pockets

This trio of roosting pockets are really adorable. I love that they are all natural fibres. I admit that I put some bits of fleece inside each one to make them a bit warmer and have hung them in a sheltered location under the eaves of my shed with at least one in a highly visible location. I am still waiting to see if they are being used at all, but it is early days. I certainly have lots of birds in my yard at the feeders, but I know it takes them some time to accept new things. I am ever hopeful and will try to keep an eye on them! I only gave 4 stars because I have not seen them get used yet.
Not as nice as previous years'

I have bought sets of these roosting pockets in the past, and have come back for more. They look lovely amidst the foliage of my trees, and the chickadees, in particular, have taken a fancy to them. This year's batch was a tad disappointing, however. I know they are handwoven and no two are exactly alike, but one of the three I received, a sort of teepee shape, is so misshapen it's not nice to look at and I don't think I will hang it in my garden. In a second one, what is supposed to be its little square opening is very irregularly shaped, a sort of drunken rhombus, and it's not so pretty either. Thus far I've only put one the three out in my garden. I'm not sure I want to look at the other ones.

Products are well made and so adorable. I have put them in some trees and am hoping some birds will be attracted to them.
Set of roosting pockets (3)

These are of much better quality than any roosting pockets that I've bought elsewhere. The fibres are softer and it is apparent that they will last much longer than pockets I have bought in other big name stores. I was very happy when I received them as it's hard to tell quality when shopping on-line.
The birds will love these

Very well made and I am sure the birds will soon be sheltering in them.

They look great. Have not seen any birds in or around them yet though.

I bought 6 of these. I lined them with Alpaca nesting fibre to make them cozy & installed them outdoors next to a cedar hedge. Hopefully the pouches will attract small birds for overnight resting spots.
Not sure a bird would feel safe in these during a storm

Handle broke off one of these immediately after taking from box. Not sure how these would hold up in a storm. Wind can blow right through and they would easily blow around if hanging from a branch. I didn't think this purchase through before I bought them.

Rather than some fancy looking bird house, these roosting nests attract many more birds. These look like the real thing! Much cheaper and sturdier too. We should be encouraging natural nesting habits.
