"Loaded (to the gills) with shelled sunflower seeds and the occasional black fly larva, at first most birds couldn't figure it out. Took a while actually. But it seems once the goldfinches figured it out, word spread and soon it was like an avian Woodstock. TONS of birds. I have five feeders but it's the reigning champ. Might get another. That's why I came back here - although the price has gone up 20 bucks - I think."

"This turned out to have so many benefits. The opening size is small so it only really fits sunflower hearts. I tried Happy Garden at first but the peanuts and dried fruit were too big. The small feeding opening also means it stays full way longer and the animals have to work at teasing out the seed. My other platform feeders encourage gluttony and flinging the seed all over the yard when someone is startled. I’ve had it for a little over a week and it’s still half full. I’m satisfied that it is a solid foundation feeder for everyone. Everyone uses it: finches, chickadees and nuthatches, cardinals, blue jays, grackles, starlings, sparrows… everyone has figured out how to use it, including the squirrels. I don't care if the squirrels eat, they’re hungry too. They will literally lie on their backs on the platform and snack at the openings, it’s hilarious. Very happy with this."
"I have had this product before but had to move and forgot to bring it with me. If this one is like the older one I will be very happy. It holds a fair amount of seed and needs refilling less than a lot of bird feeders."
"I've had my feeder for a couple of years now and I can honestly say this is one tough feeder! This winter a raccoon decided if he couldn't reach the feeders on the pole he was going to knock it down. This was about a month ago and there wasn't a whole lot of snow so when the feeder hit the ground I'm sure he hit pretty hard. I found the feeder about 40ft from the pole, laying on it's side. I was very surprised to see it was TOTALLY intact! Seed and all! Since I couldn't replant the pole I decide to rehang it where I had other feeders in a tree. That night, he DID IT AGAIN! He managed to get it out of the tree but the best parts is, he got the SAME RESULT and hasn't bothered to try a third time LOL. This feeder is one "undefeated" champion! If I could give this a higher rating than 5 I would!"
