Description
Description
Log Jammer Hot Pepper Suet Plugs, 9.4oz is a 270g pack of three suet plugs designed for suet log feeders, made from rendered beef suet, ground peanuts, cracked corn, and capsicum pepper, from Pine Tree Farms.
The Fourth Log Jammer Variant, This One Squirrel-Resistant
This is the fourth Log Jammer plug in this catalog, alongside the peanut, insect, and berry versions, and the only one built with capsicum pepper. Based on how the same ingredient is used elsewhere in this catalog (in the Squirrel Proof Suet and Flaming Hot Feast products), capsicum is typically added specifically to deter squirrels, since birds don't have the receptors to taste it, though this particular page doesn't state that purpose outright, so it's worth confirming with Pine Tree Farms if you'd like it stated as a direct claim.
