This hanging seed cylinder feeder surrounds the food with 16-gauge vinyl-coated wire mesh featuring 1½ in. openings, designed to keep starlings out while also helping deter black and grey squirrels. Red squirrels and chipmunks are small enough to enter the cage, so they may still gain access.

A center pin holds seed cylinders securely in place, while an internal elevator keeps the seed raised off the bottom. Drainage holes help keep the seed cylinder drier, and the galvanized steel top and bottom are powder coated for added protection. A galvanized hanging cable is included for suspending the feeder from a tree branch.
