Hi-Wire Black Squirrel

Hi-Wire Black Squirrel is a 6.5-inch plush toy modeled on the genetic color mutation that produces black-coated squirrels, made with soft polyester fill and finished with a fluffy, brushy tail. It's recommended for ages 24 months and up and is machine washable.

The Name References Where Black Squirrels Are Often Spotted

Black squirrels get their name "Hi-Wire" from the page's own framing: a nod to spotting a dark-colored squirrel scampering along power lines. The name isn't a reference to any poseable wire limbs or mechanical feature, it's simply the plush's given character name.

The Dark Coloring Comes From a Genetic Mutation, Not a Separate Species

The page states plainly that the black coloring is the result of a genetic mutation rather than a distinct squirrel species, a detail reflected in the plush's design through its sleek, dark coat. The toy's upright pose and brushy tail are built to mirror that natural appearance rather than add any functional or interactive element.
